WREATHS ACROSS AMERICA
VMPC is part of a National "Wreaths Across America" Program that occurs at 11am on Saturday, December 17th, 2022
We hope you will attend both of our events on that wonderful day!.
(1). 11am The Opening Ceremony at the Veterans Memorial is the Public Event that with seating for 150 persons.
It is very respectful and honors our Harlingen Heroes.
(2). We all move to the "F" Street Cemetery where We have a second (brief) Ceremony conducted by our youth groups.
And than we all go about location and placing a Wreath on each Veterans Grave. Families are invited to participate.
We greet each Veteran and call them by name to Remember and Respect them. "Sgt Jose Smith, Thanks for your Service, you are not forgotten"
The City of Harlingen ""F" Street Cemetery is very historic and has more than 100 Veterans interned dating back to the very beginning
of the City. It is a great honor to recognize and remember them, each year with a wonderful fresh evergreen Wreath. Thanks for helping us.

NOTE: If you are a Private, Church, Small Town or Ranch Cemetery and wish to participate in the Wreaths Across America program or if you wish to purchase a Wreath for a special hero and place the Wreath on that gravesite, use the "Will-Call" selection.
You order your Wreaths, bring your receipt tp the Veterans Memorial on Saturday, December 17th between 9 am and noon. Locate our "Will-Call" booth, present your receipt, get your Wreaths. Thank you
You are then responsible to place the Wreaths on the gravesite of our Special Veterans.
